NATURAL POD MAKES MOTHERING MAGAZINE’S LIST OF 2007’S BEST NATURAL TOYS

(Vancouver, BC) – Natural Pod is pleased to announce that Mothering Magazine has featured six of its products in its list of Best Natural Toys for 2007, which appeared in its November-December issue.
Mothering Magazine’s Annual Toy review features toys that are natural and safe for children.

Natural Pod’s six products that were featured in Mothering Magazine include:

Vist Natural Pod this Thursday, October 18th where you will get a chance to see some of their great *new products Including house/kitchen play items, baby wooden bowls and rattles, finger puppets and an amazing selection of natural dolls.

All of their items are safe, non-toxic, educational and most importantly fun.

Natural Pod also offers pre-ordering on-line at NATURAL POD. If you place your order by 12.00pm, Wednesday October 17th, you can pick-up at this event. Just select 'pick up at next event' at check out. This is a great option for those who have limited time.

We are very excited to once again create a store event for our local community, bringing many new items for all to enjoy.

Visit Natural Pod this Thursday, September 27th from 12.00pm - 3.00pm (note new time) at the Vancouver Waldorf School, 2725 St Christophers Road in North Vancouver.

We are also offering for our Vancouver based customers, the option of pre-ordering on-line at Natural Pod and collecting your items at our store events. Just select 'pick up at next event' at check out. This option is great for those who have limited time.

A HELPING HAND

Do you have any maternity or baby items that you don't need?

This coming Thursday, April 26th from 12.00pm - 4.00pm at the Vancouver Waldorf School, Natural Pod along with Lifeways Childcare in North Vancouver are accepting donations of maternity and baby items for new and expectant moms in need on the lower east side. Any items that you can spare, would be helpful. Whether you have maternity wear, baby clothes, toys, diapers, linens, blankets, all types of items will be greatly appreciated.

To say 'Thank you' for supporting these families, Natural Pod will be provide 15% off all purchases on April 26th with any donations given. No donation is to small.

With Earth Day just around the corner, many people should take advantage of the great events taking place. Go to
Earth Day Canada http://www.earthday.ca/pub/index.php to find events in your local area! Also Baby Vibe has a great list of events happening in the Lower Mainland to check out! Lastly, check out Natural Pod for the event they'll be at!

And if you're not able to get to an event, at least do something for the Earth that day! Some suggestions to consider:

- donate used items from around the house to different organizations instead of throwing them in the garbage
- check out how you can help out Plant a Row Grow a Row Programs in your area
- respect your environment
